Dr. Norma Gottstein

Dr. Gottstein grew up on a farm in Woodbine, MD. She received a bachelor's degree in Biology from Hood College in Frederick, MD. She then went on to the VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her DVM. Over the years she has developed special interests in dentistry and soft tissue surgery and has even branched into pocket pet care. She met her husband while attending veterinary school and moved to his hometown of Baldwin, KS in 2000. They currently live as empty nesters in Lawrence, KS.

Dr. Gottstein takes pride in being an advocate for her patients and helping clients determine the best care for their pets. She believes that communication plays a vital role in achieving a caring and trusting relationship between doctor, client and pet. Her many years of experience as a veterinarian have really helped her to hone her skills. 

In her spare time, Dr. Gottstein enjoys gardening and cooking as well as spending time in the mountains of Colorado and Montana. She shares her home with two dogs, four cats, and two horses.
